Junior Dan is one of the true legends of original Jamaican reggae/roots music. Born in Jamaica in the 50's, he started playing bass when he was 15 with a famous recording band called Generation Gap who recorded at Randy’s studio in downtown Kingston.
Over the years, Junior has played for many reggae artists as well as other artists in the music business. These include Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Augustus Pablo, Pablo Moses, Horace Andy the Cuban jazz singer, Cachaito Lopez the list is endless…he was bass player for the Gorillaz first album entitled ‘Gorillaz with hits such as Rock the house, Clint Eastwood etc..
His first album KTW dub has been on the market since 1980 and still going strong with a new album due for release called Reggae Roadmap covering 30 years of true unreleased roots music written and arranged by Junior Dan himself...
