We are very proud to be a lacquer-cutting studio. We’ve been cutting lacquers for over 2 decades now and love the creative process and making music come to life on vinyl.

Lacquers are the first process of creating vinyl records. The music is cut onto lacquer discs which are then sent to a pressing plant for processing and press.

It takes a lot of skill and experience to get a great-sounding record. Whether from our masters or supplied masters, Sam first runs test cuts and then makes adjustments to optimise the music for the best possible vinyl playback.  He creates vinyl masters that are true to the digital master but also sound the best for the vinyl format.

Vinyl Mastering & Lacquer Cutting

From our approved masters or supplied masters we cut 12"/10"/7". If you need any further information just get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Reference Acetate Cut

We recommend having a reference acetate made along side your Master Lacquers for vinyl manufacturing. This allows you to cross check the original cut to the vinyl TPs that the manufacturing plant provides.

Dubplate Master & Cut

Perfect for getting those fresh big tunes sounding their best for hands on play. Also it's a great way to get your favourite unreleased recordings in your record box. There’s nothing like playing out a freshly cut Dub that just lights up the dance floor. Each plate is given that “stand out from the crowd” attention to detail. We wouldn’t do it any other way. We cut on 12" and 10" Acetate Dubplates and courier worldwide.
